You're the CEO — you set the strategy. Experts run the tactics: the research, the vetting, and the monthly mix of highest-impact nonprofits in your cause. Routed straight to the charities; we never hold your money.
Instead of betting on a single organization, you back a whole field of vetted nonprofits in a cause — and a team of experts keeps the lineup sharp, updating the mix every month so your money follows the impact.
Choose what you care about — health, the environment, education and more. We've assembled the strongest nonprofits in each.
Set your amount, one-time or recurring. Automate it and forget it — or keep it manual and just get a nudge to give.
Your gift is split across many vetted nonprofits and sent straight to them — with the mix reviewed and updated every month to stay high-impact.
Every nonprofit is researched, vetted, and continuously monitored.
Data-informed decisions. Deep research. Clear rationale.
Diversified allocations across high-impact organizations.
Automated. Ongoing management. One less thing to worry about.
Transparent, accountable, focused on lasting impact.
Strong, ready-to-go nonprofit picks across every major cause area — so there's a high-quality place to start on day one.

And we're just getting started — we're growing the lineup with expert Funding Stream Curators: specialists who research, build, and manage their own curated stream of nonprofits within a cause. Think you could curate one? Reach out.
Granting is recruiting its first 15 Founding Curators — people whose judgment about a cause guides how thousands of donors give. You choose the nonprofits and the mix; Granting handles the rest.

No — we don't hold any of your money. Our experts do the research, but you make the donation directly from Granting.io to the chosen nonprofits.
You can set Granting up to make your donations for you automatically each month, or hold them and manually go into your Granting account and press the button yourself. Either way, you don't have to manage the details — Granting takes care of that.
No. You can join or change funding streams any time you want. Your donation intent action is triggered at the end of each month for each funding stream you're currently enrolled in — so you're never locked in.
No. When your intended donation to a nonprofit is less than $25, we don't trigger the donation yet — we wait until your accumulated intent for that nonprofit hits $25, and only then send it. That keeps any single donation big enough that processing fees stay a small share of the gift.
Granting is designed to give you flexibility, turn your impact into a powerful and constant source, and make sure you sweat as few of the details as possible.
Yes. Every donation flows directly from you to the recipient nonprofit, and each one is its own tax-deductible gift to a registered 501(c)(3). At year-end your Granting account will have a consolidated giving statement — every donation, recipient, and date — ready to hand to your accountant or import into your tax software.
Each funding stream is led by a Funding Stream Curator — an expert in that cause area who builds the lineup, researches every nonprofit in it, and updates the monthly mix as the field evolves.
On top of the Curator's work, we continuously monitor every nonprofit on the platform for financial health, program outcomes, and governance changes. When the evidence shifts, the stream shifts with it — so the mix you're giving to today reflects the best current thinking, not a one-time decision.
You don't have to do anything. By default, your Curator's recommended mix simply runs — your giving follows their research automatically, with no setup and no upkeep. For most people that's exactly right, and leaving it as-is is a perfectly good choice.
It's a recommended course of action, not an obligation. Any individual donation can be tweaked or cancelled right up until it actually pays out — so easing off a nonprofit, skipping it this time, or topping one up is always your call. And you can always give to a nonprofit directly, on your own; that's simply a personal donation and isn't counted as part of the course. The controls are there when you want them and out of your way when you don't. (Adjusting within a course is useful too — it quietly helps your Curator sharpen the mix over time.)
Yes — instantly. Your Granting account is the source of truth for everything you've given and everything you've intended to give.
Actual donations: every gift made on your behalf — recipient, amount, date, and which funding stream it came from.
Pending amounts: donation intent that's accumulating toward the next trigger, so you always know what's in flight.
Stream metrics: how your dollars are flowing across the lineup, and how the funds you're enrolled in are performing.
Impact updates: when nonprofits share what your giving moved, that lands in your account too — so you can see what changed, not just where the money went.
Year-end summary: a complete, itemized report of every donation you made through Granting — recipient, amount, date, EIN — formatted for your tax filing and ready to hand to your accountant.
Filter by year, by stream, or by charity any time.
Payments are processed by Stripe — the same payment infrastructure that powers companies like Shopify, Target, and Lyft. Your card details never touch Granting's servers; they go directly from your browser to Stripe's PCI-DSS-compliant vault. We never see your full card number.
Yes. Granting is one of several apps built on the CauseLine engine — CauseLine Labs makes apps that turn giving into something simple, joyful, and habitual. ScoreSide is another (sports wins trigger donations to the nonprofits you care about); more are coming.
Your Granting account works across the whole engine. The nonprofits you back here are automatically available on every CauseLine app, so when you set up ScoreSide or join whatever launches next, your charities are already there. Donations flow through the same vetting, the same dashboard, and the same year-end summary — no matter which app they started in.
Yes — instantly, from your account, no questions asked. Pause for a month, change streams, drop your monthly amount, or stop entirely. Since we never hold your money, there's nothing to "redeem" or wait on. Whatever you've already given is in the hands of the nonprofits; whatever you haven't triggered yet stays in your bank account.
